Sunday, March 22, 2009 – Cruising Day 7

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we would find it not."  Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Another sea-day today.  Pinnacle Grill was good, but I was a little IMGP8975 disappointed.  I had a Caesar salad, however it was made and served in the same plate.  The filet mignon was cooked a little more than rare, possibly medium/rare, but it was still good and very tasty.  The vegetables were lovely and crunchy.  Gert had the surf and turf with whipped potatoes and vegetables – I can’t believe he cleaned his

plate.  We had a lovely wine E-Minor Merlot, it’s an Australian wine.  We drank 1/2 bottle and took the balance back to the room for consumption another day.

The clocks went back another hour, making 3 hours since we left New Zealand.

Gert feels a little better today but he did cough most of the night, we’ll get some medication when we get to Cairns.  We had another quiet day in our cabin and watched some movies.  I did a 45 minute workout this afternoon (in the gym :-)) and felt better for it.  We had supper in the Rotterdam dining room at 7:45pm.  We met up with Made at 10:30 pm to discuss our Bali trip – we’re very excited about Indonesia.

Off to bed early as we arrive at the Great Barrier Reef in the morning.
